Photography can change the way the world looks at the simplest of things.
*All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget. In this - as in other ways - they are the opposite of paintings. Paintings record what the painter remembers. Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it. ~John Berger
~Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. . . it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything - Aaron Sussman
~Pictures are a way to remember what once was. In a simple second you can make a memory that you can forget over time, but if you capture that second you will remember forever.
*My view on photography, is that there is no right or wrong way to look at a picture. The way you see it may be different than what someone else sees. When you look at a photo you don't always see what is there, but rather what you want to see because you are looking for something to believe in within that photo. You are looking for something that you can put your faith in that will let you see the beauty of something that you might otherwise have overlooked.
